This is a perfect example of a well-maintained 3rd-gen VFR, with ~88500 miles and still running strong. Don’t be scared by the mileage; these machines have been documented to last 100k+ miles.
The only weak point of the VFRs is the charging system, but not to worry! The whole charging system, including the wiring, battery, stator, and regulator/rectifier, have been professionally replaced by the shop just a week ago.
For its age, the bodywork is clean, but shows signs of being downed once by the previous owner. The only other con is the left mid fairing, which snapped off while riding on the highway. I didn’t even notice it was gone till I got home.
Maintenance records from the previous owner are available, and since then I have changed the fluids, replaced the tires, and replaced the thermostat and coolant, all within the last 2000 miles.
