Very rare Moto Guzzi Daytona RS. It's thought that only 64 were produced and about 12 imported to the US. Bought new from Pro Italia in Glendale, CA. 2519 miles and recent full service, with all the recommended items addressed, most importantly new timing belts. $2500 invoice of work done is shown in the picture gallery. Parts were acquired from MG Cycle in WI. All switches, guages and electrics work fine. Also included various Bosch relays as spares, because I wanted correct replacements while they are available. A bike cover and upright storage stand also included.
Have clean California title with Non-Operational status. Very clean and all original, but minor surface rust on some nuts due to long storage. Runs very strong and responsive with a great exhaust note. The Brembo brakes/rotors are very effective. The tech also commented that it shifts very smoothly during test rides. Only modifications were the dealer installed Heli bars and recalled oil cooler lines. There is a small 3" garage rash scratch on the right rear tail section and minor scratches on that muffler. Various pencil size chips on fairing and front fender legs. The bike has never seen a track day.
Reason for sale is to downsize the number of very special bikes in the garage.
