I am looking to add an on-site litigation associate to work on complex, aggressively litigated civil and family law matters. The ideal candidate has some experience at a small to medium-sized law firm in California working on a variety of cases. Trial and deposition experience is highly desirable, but a good personality fit is the most important criterion-- agreeableness, discretion, and flexibility are all essential qualifications of the position. Will train the right person even if they have zero experience.

This is an hourly position on a 1099 (per billable hour). The expectation is an honest 5.0 billable hours per day (1,250 per year), and there is no shortage of work to be done.
