Im looking for a highly skilled carpenter to design and build custom floating bookshelves in my home in Mountain View / Los Altos.
Scope of work:
- Build and install 10 floating shelves, each approximately 28 inches long
- Build and install 1 wrap-around floating shelf approximately 28 feet long
All shelves must be true floating shelves (no visible brackets)
Clean, precise finish suitable for a modern residential interior
Must be securely anchored into studs and capable of holding books
Requirements:
Experienced carpenter with strong portfolio of floating shelves or similar custom work
Professional-quality workmanship and attention to detail
Own tools and equipment
Reliable, communicative, and punctual
Ability to advise on materials and best construction approach
