We are a warm, busy family of four in Palo Alto, seeking a proactive, organized, and reliable Family Support Assistant to help us keep our home running smoothly. This role will focus on managing household organization, laundry care, light household upkeep, meal prep assistance, and ensuring day-to-day tasks are completed with care and efficiency.
Key Responsibilities
*Household Organization & Upkeep
*Maintain household systems: closets, pantry, toy areas, and storage spaces
*Simple Meal Prep, keep pantry + fridge stocked and organized
*Light household upkeep: load/unload dishwasher, wipe kitchen and household surfaces, vacuum high-traffic areas, reset and tidy common spaces and bedrooms (no deep cleaning required, we have someone scheduled to come in for that!)
*Laundry & Linen Care: wash, dry, fold, and organize all family laundry - rotate bedding, refresh towels, and maintain linen closets
Ideal Candidate
*Reliable, organized, and detail-oriented
*Proactive, self-sufficient, and able to anticipate family needs
*Professional, discreet, and respectful of family privacy
*Prior experience supporting a household or family in a similar role preferred
Requirements
*Non-smoker
*Valid driver’s license with clean driving record
*Able to pass a background check
*Reliable transportation
