For sale is a Recteq 680 pellet grill. This is an awesome barbecue and smoker. If you want to make Texas style brisket, BBQ ribs, pork butt, or any other kind of barbecue meat that requires low and slow, this is an incredible way to do it. I have used it for almost 10 years and made many dozens of briskets and ribs. It also works great for grilled vegetables, chicken, or anything else you need to cook. We use it mid-week instead of turning on the oven in the house. It's also great for Thanksgiving turkeys. Only reason I'm selling this one is that I was gifted a newer model by my folks, and I don't need two. It runs perfectly, no issues whatsoever.
Upgrades: I have installed a more modern controller than the original one, which features Wifi control (you'll need to download the Recteq app.) It comes with a temperature probe to track the internal temp of the meat you're cooking. It also has an improved ceramic igniter in the firebox. Lastly, a folding front shelf is installed which is great for prepping and wrapping meats.
The hopper for the pellets holds 40 lbs worth of pellets, a full Costco-sized bag's worth. I've run the grill non-stop for 20 hours at 225 degrees and not run out of pellets. There is 702 square inches of grilling space. I have done two full packer briskets at the same time, or 6 racks of beef ribs simultaneously.
Also comes with a cover that's in excellent condition.
It's bulky and fairly heavy, so I recommend a pickup truck or a large van or trailer.
Email me with any questions. First come first served. $525 OBO.
