1) This bird feeder hangs so it is difficult for a squirrel to reach and even if they do it is not possible for them feed. Made of stainless steel mesh so it will not rust and will not shatter like glass or deteriorate and crack like plastic, just $10.
2) The larger bird feeder has a weight adjustable bar on the front on which a bird stands to get at the seeds. If the weight is too heavy on the bar, a shield comes down and closed all feeding stations so no seeds are available and when the weight is eliminated the shield comes back up allowing feeding. This means large birds such as blue jays, ravens, etc, and squirrels cannot feed. The shield can be adjusted for more or less weight required to close off the feeding stations. In good operating condition and just $19.95.
