The Outpatient Coordinator is an integral part of our busy veterinary hospital team. This role serves as a welcoming and supportive presence for clients and patients while helping ensure the daily flow of appointments runs smoothly and efficiently. Outpatient Coordinators work closely alongside our veterinarians, technicians, and support staff to help deliver compassionate, gold standard veterinary care.
Key Responsibilities
Assist clients throughout their visit and help create a positive experience
Coordinate appointment flow and communicate with the medical team regarding patient status and needs
Prepare exam rooms and maintain a clean, organized work environment
Help educate clients on hospital processes, preventive care, and follow-up instructions
Qualifications
Strong communication and interpersonal skills
Compassion for animals and the people who love them
Ability to multitask and remain organized in a fast-paced environment
Positive attitude and willingness to learn
Reliability, professionalism, and teamwork mindset
Previous veterinary or customer service experience is helpful but not required
*We work an alternative work week (4 x 10 hour shifts/week) Some evenings and Saturday shifts required.
