Pacifica offers visitors a wide range of recreational opportunities from surfing, kayaking, paddle boarding, crabbing, and whale watching to hiking, golfing, and cycling.
What You’ll Do:
We are looking for a Full-Time Optician to assist and educate patients with the selection of frames, lenses, and lens enhancement based on the patient's prescription and specific needs. Process eyeglasses, which includes pricing, measuring, collecting money, processing the order through the lab, processing all eyewear insurance claims, and coding and documenting patient charts. Repair and adjust eyeglasses while ensuring patient satisfaction. Maintains clean, organized, and stocked eyeglass display. Control lab inventory through auditing tray management procedures, special orders, check-in of lenses, breakage, returns, the monitoring of damaged and defective products, and notifying patients of eyewear status. As needed, provide support to the front desk and back office staff. Other duties will be performed as assigned.
