An exceptional mid-century modern dresser from Drexel's collection "The New Today's Living", designed by Milo Baughman in the early 1950s. This piece features an 8-drawer low-profile design, crafted from a beautiful combination of elm and beech. Renowned for its quality construction, the dresser is solid wood throughout with dovetailed drawers and Drexel's signature "Warm Spice" finish. Completing the design are brass capped feet and original drawer handles in solid brass, classic details that reflect Baughman's timeless modern aesthetic.
The piece is in excellent shape. It has had 2 owners and spent the majority of its 60+ year life in Marin. All the drawers slide smoothly. Old lacquer has been removed and has been refinished!
