This person will be in charge of opening the restaurant and baking off the daily items (i.e. cookies, cakes, biscuits etc) as well as bulk prepping pastry items in backstock, making jams, almond butter, and other prepped items needed for both the restaurant line and provisions.
This person must be highly organized as we work in a small space together. They also must be self-sufficient, have impeccable time management, work well under little supervision, and follow recipes precisely to ensure consistent quality.
The kitchen team is small but mighty, having a good positive attitude goes a long way! We like to keep our standards high as well as our spirits, it's a fun place to work and there is potential for the position to expand in the future.

- cookies
- seasonal cakes
- coffee cake
- focaccia
- cheddar biscuits (laminated)
- seasonal jams
- almond butter

Responsibilites:
- open the restaurant, turn on equipment and setting up the dish station
- baking off daily pastries in sequence as we only have one oven (time management is key)
- check in bread order and assess quality
- bulk prep pastry items as needed
- prep grab and go items as needed
- overnight oats, chia pudding, etc.
