Help teach robots to do real-world tasks. We're an early-stage robotics startup building robots that learn from human demonstrations, and we're hiring part-time data collectors to generate that training data. Your work directly shapes how our robots learn to perceive and handle the physical world.
This is a flexible, part-time, on-site role, and a great fit if you want steady, reliable side work that fits around school or another schedule.
What you'll do
Pack mock grocery orders while wearing our data-collection system (a sensorized glove and camera setup)
Teleoperate our robot to perform those same picking and packing tasks
Repeat tasks carefully and consistently so the training data stays high quality
Follow detailed instructions and give feedback on new tasks and hardware
This is hands-on, repetitive physical work, similar to picking and packing in a grocery or fulfillment setting. You'll be on your feet handling typical grocery items for a few hours at a stretch.
What we're looking for
18 or older
Available 20+ hours per week, in person in Mountain View
Comfortable with repetitive physical tasks (picking and packing grocery-type items) for 3 to 4 hours a day
Detail-oriented and consistent, able to follow instructions precisely
Punctual, responsible, and reliable
Friendly with strong communication
Comfortable embracing repetitive work in a fast-paced startup
Interest in robotics or emerging tech is a plus, but no robotics experience required
Nice to have
Experience in service or hands-on jobs (grocery, warehouse, restaurant, retail, fulfillment, etc.)
Part-time students welcome
Details
$20/hour, part-time, 1099 contractor
In person, Mountain View
