Rolling table with 3 Black anodized 1/2" thick solid aluminum shelves. Heavy duty Stainless steel casters with rubber bottomed Stainless steel locking levelers. Casters are double wheeled and rated to 1000 lbs each. Heavy duty frame construction of 40mm x 40mm Heavy gauge aluminum extrusion that is clear anodized. These extrusions provide channels that facilitate fastening of other things directly onto it with fasteners that can be located anywhere along these channels. The extrusion material is from 8020.net that costs $.95 per inch plus cutting fees, fasteners, shipping and tax. This is about $2,300 worth of material in a ready made table.
The rubber based locking levelers Allow for perfectly leveling this on an imperfect floor with no movement or teetering and resists being displaced when bumped or subjected to vibration. Also very easy rolling even when heavily loaded. This was designed and made for a robitic lab space where instruments on this table where accessed by a robotic arm. Square, level and stable relationships between the robot and the instruments was crucial.
Dimensions : 20" x 23.5". Shelves are at 51", 31" and 14" and those heights can be adjusted. Overall, Can be raised a bit more with the levelers. The top of the base frame is at 5.5" A shelf could be added at that level.
Shelf cosmetics: All the shelves are Black anodized. Which surface hardens the aluminum. 1 is solid black. The other 2 are badly faded. This is because the anodizer apparently forgot to seal those after the anodize and staining processes. It may be possible to re-stain them black with ordinary black dye to improve their cosmetics.
Modifications and additions can be added for a fee. I am a designer and machinist.
I have another similar table with 1 shelf (top) that is 24" x 48" Solid 1" thick phenolic. It is listed seperately
