This unit has been in the family since purchasing it new in 1974. My dad maintained it perfectly throughout the years and I’ve had it for the last 10 years playing it periodically.

The sound is absolutely beautiful with classic McIntosh smoothness. It’s amazing because it sounds like a more accurate tube amplifier.

The McIntosh C-28 PreAmp is a vintage solid-state stereo preamplifier manufactured from 1970 to 1978, celebrated for its classic McIntosh design, build quality, and musical sound reproduction.
