UPDATE MARCH 23:
The car has fresh oil and runs and sounds great now. The typical Miata valve noise has gone away. However it failed smog, so I have emissions parts coming in the mail and should have them installed within a few days. You may buy the car as is or wait until the smog is approved.
About this Miata:
Car has mostly been sitting for the past 2 years because I was busy with college and work. I kept the car because it's solid I wanted to resto-mod it when I had time and funds. I recently test rode a new Triumph Bonneville motorcycle... So now it's time to sell this car. I unfortunately don't have the time for this car anymore.
Started up and driven occasionally. Starts up right away. Could use some tuning, probably the valves, they sound tappety, typical for Miatas- However could just be from sitting, might open up after some driving. Great project street car with all the right upgrades and factory Torsen LSD. Lots of big-ticket maintenance and upgrades done in recent mileage. Lots of potential here. The transmission shifts exceptionally smooth on this one.
Currently registered as non-op a few months ago. This week I will be working on smogging the car and registering it. You can buy it now as non-op... I have AAA insurance they will tow the car for free if you do not want to drive it home as non-op... My asking price will go up after I smog and register it.
I bought the car stock except for the stereo system, all other upgrades have been done under my ownership. I have many maintenance receipts.
