I am selling my 2005 Rav4. It's been an awesome car. I am the 2nd owner and have had it for around 13 years. I've regularly maintained it over the years.
Reason why the price is low is because it will need new tires fairly soon within the next few months. They are still ok but the tread is wearing. Americas tires in redwood city quoted $465 for 4 new tires including installation.
Also, it will probably need a new set of brakes and Roders at some point next year or 2027. The mechanic I take it to says brakes pads are good still but rotors are rusty so not to worry about it yet. They do not squeak or anything.
I ask them about it every time I get an oil change. Aside from that, my car has cosmetic faults. The paint has peeled on certain parts of the car. It doesn't look terrible. The reason why the paint is peeling is because I've lived in Hawai'i and Daly City where the salt water air ruined the paint.
It's such a good car, runs great. Toyota will last forever. Let me know if you're interested in setting up a time to meet up and see it/ drive it. Thank you.
