After three amazing seasons racing SCCA, I’m selling my 1995 Spec Miata - time to close this chapter. As a former Honda engineer, I’ve been meticulous about every detail, from the maintenance I handled myself to the top Bay Area specialists I brought in when needed. My philosophy was simple: do everything I can the right way, and when I can’t, get help from the best. This car has been my life for the past three years, and no expense was spared. The result is a reliable, well-sorted, and competitive NA Spec Miata.
The powertrain (engine + trans) was fully rebuilt by Mike Haag at Haag Performance in 2022. The chassis setup and alignments have been dialed in by Derek at EDGE Motorworks. I upgraded nearly every system on the car, using either OEM parts from Mazda Motorsports or high quality aftermarket parts from Advanced Autosports and Pegasus. This car is truly turn-key and ready for its next race or HPDE weekend. It comes with a massive spares and consumables package sufficient for an entire season of driving (buyer only needs to get new tires). All documentation is organized, and the car has a clean, non-operational California title in my name.

* Data / Electronics: AiM MXm dash logger with a full sensor suite monitoring oil temp / pressure, water temp / pressure, brake pressure, fuel pressure, and lambda (2 sensors for steering position / accel pedal position included but not mounted)
* Brakes / Clutch: Steel braided brake and clutch lines. Mazda motorsports competition clutch / flywheel. Performance Friction Pads / Rotors
* Cockpit: OMP CHAMP driver's seat with a G-Force 6-point harness (valid through 2026). A Cobra passenger seat with an expired Racequip harness is also installed
* Wheels: 8 Momo Podium wheels (two sets), mounted with used Toyo RR slicks and Toyo RA1 rain tires
* Thermal: CXRACING Aluminum Radiator
* Spares: A massive package of OEM and aftermarket spares is included
Condition and Documentation:
The car is mechanically perfect and ready to race today. The body is straight, with the expected cosmetic imperfections of a dedicated track car. You will receive a comprehensive folder with all receipts and service records from my ownership (2021-Present) and the previous owner, along with a detailed maintenance log, the Spec Miata construction manual (great reference guide), and the current logbook.
