This smog exempt Turbodiesel MK1 VW Caddy a.k.a. Rabbit pickup is definitely a fun little truck. It has a 1.6L TD engine in it from an ‘85 VW Jetta and a 5 speed manual transmission. It runs and drives fine, but like most Vw's burns a little bit of oil, and has some characteristic drips that any old cars are bound to have. These small engines get great mileage. Many parts have been rebuilt/replaced like the radiator, battery, fuel injectors, fuel pump, hoses, head, turbo, etc. has a 6’ bed, with some slight rust issues that can be repaired. I hate to see it go, but I just don’t have the space for it any more. It could definitely benefit from a little TLC as well to keep it going strong for years to come. Since there aren’t too many of these around, I’m not quite sure what they’re worth, but I’ll be asking $4000 or best offer
