There are rare cars and there are cars which nobody even knows existed. This car tends to fall into the latter category and if you’re among the few that are familiar with these, then you know how rare they are, not to mention how truly unique and extremely ahead of their time.
- starts right up every time
- shift smoothly through all the forward gears
- still has great power in life in the motor, especially considering the age of the vehicle
- upholstery is intact and in good shape
- no check engine light
With that said it’s a 92 model so it’s not exactly in showroom condition. Here are the known issues:
- will not shift into reverse
- body is in need of a complete paint job
- Battery and/or alternator need replaced
- A couple windows are stuck halfway up
- Gauges work intermittently
- registration is unpaid since 2017. It had about $1000 in fees due, but I was able to get the DMV to reduce the registration fees to $750.
