Up for sale is a 2002 Dodge Ram Quad Cab 2wd pickup truck. The truck has 132k miles and is equipped with the 4.7 liter V8 engine.
The Dodge truck has been in our family since it was just a year old in 2003 with 5,000 miles.
Recent Maintenance Includes:
Rebuilt cylinder heads at 125k (performed by Cardelli Motorsport in San Mateo)
New head gaskets, timing chain guides, and tensioners
New water pump, hoses, and radiator
Bridgestone Dueller H/T tires (2023 date code) installed at 126k
Replaced all power steering lines and flushed system at 130k
New Pre-Cat Oxygen sensors installed at 131k
Automatic transmission serviced at 131k with genuine MOPAR filters (both the threaded filter and sock filters), also installed new transmission pan with drain plug for quicker servicing
A Curt tow hitch has also been installed for light to medium duty trailering
Cosmetically the truck’s paint has seen better days. Living outside its whole life, the sun took its toll on the hood, roof, and top of the bed. The hood has been rhino lined black, while the roof was primered. There are various other dings and scratches (mostly from friends borrowing the truck and not being careful…). Otherwise the truck has never been in an accident and retains all its original panels.
The interior of the Dodge is in decent shape all things considered. The cloth upholstery has held up nicely over the years without any rips or tears. The bench seating with foldable front armrest is handy when you need an extra seat for shorter trips. In typical Dodge fashion, the upper dash panel cracked from the sun over the years, so I learned to live with it and put dash mat over it.
Overall the truck would be great for someone looking for a low buck work truck, or for hauling cargo around for weekend projects. I would like to keep it, but unfortunately it no longer makes sense given I don’t use it anymore. The truck has just passed smog and I have the pink slip ready to go for the next owner.
Feel free to send an email with any questions or to set up a time to view the truck.
