The 4-door extended cab provides lots of indoor space for things you don't want to leave in the back of the truck and the 8' bed provides ample space for everything else.
First thing I did when I bought the truck back in 2015 was put in some heavy duty weather-guard floor mats so the carpet is in near perfect condition. The floor mats are still as good as new too.
The front seats have always had seat covers on them so they're in good shape too.
Exterior is in great shape. It IS a truck so of course it has a blemish or two but it has never been worked hard, wrecked, abused, or had any body work done.
The XLT models are well appointed and this truck has a few additional options that make it more comfortable and more capable.
This truck has the tow package, integrated trailer brake controller along with built-in trailer sway control and a 2.5" hitch receiver.
The 6.7 liter diesel engine runs smooth and can tow pretty much whatever you want to tow with it. I get about 14-15 mpg towing my boat and up to 18 or 19 mpg on the highway without a trailer.
It has a keypad on the driver side door so you can unlock it without the key. Comes in very handy.
I PLANNED ON KEEPING THIS TRUCK FOREVER so the oil, transmission, coolant, intake, and fuel system maintenance was always done twice as often as recommended by Ford.
The only thing I have changed is I installed 20" rims and tires from a 2024 F250.
I used it to tow a small travel trailer twice a year for three years and since then the only thing I have towed with it is my 19' boat.
It is more truck than I really need so I am looking to downsize to a half ton.
