"On April 1st, we celebrate 50 years of Apple. As we approach this milestone, I am continuing to list pieces from my private archive as a former employee. Up next: the original 'Flower Power' Rip. Mix. Burn. poster."
🌸 THE NOSTALGIA:
Released in 2001, this poster captures one of the most vibrant and rebellious chapters in Apple’s history. Featuring the psychedelic "Flower Power" iMac G3, it highlights the "Rip. Mix. Burn." campaign that paved the way for the iTunes and iPod revolution. It’s a bold piece of 2000s tech culture that celebrates the era when Apple encouraged us to take control of our digital media.
Provenance: I obtained this directly through Apple during my career there. It has been stored in a shipping tube in a climate-controlled, smoke-free room for over 20 years.
