The Adler Tippa is one the few high-end European portable typewriters from the 1960's and early 1970s. Years before personal computers, this was a personal typewriter that could be used on the lap or on the go. It is known that screenwriters, novelists and journalists used Tippas. I had been searching for an ultra-portal for notes and writing fiction. I have ended up with one of the first Smith Corona electrics instead of the Tippa. I carefully selected this Tippa from a dealer and reconditioner in Holland and paid to have it shipped which was more than the 150.00 I am listing it for. This is a great typewriter for creatives, to give to a young person to connect with the past, for street poets, etc. It is in top condition. Of note, to reverse the typewriter ribbon, there is a small lever. BTW the typewriter case top connects to the typewriter base to create its small carrying case.
