This Vintage Original "School Desk/Chair Combo" is untouched *(exactly as it Came out of the T Kundtz Wood Factory) Was utilized by the "Children of The Desert" at the "Desert Queen School House" -- Located in the Joshua Tree National Park !

(The School House was built by "my Grandfather Bill Keys" on his Ranch !
- he ordered the Desk to be sent from the Factory - "Handmade by T Kundtz" in Cleveland, Ohio !!!

"The Desert Queen Ranch" which is now part of the "Joshua Tree National Park".
* The School Desk was given to me by my Grandfather, before the “Ranch became a National Park”.

This Vintage School Desk was made by hand in 1908 by Theodor Kundtz of T Kundtz Company of Cleveland Ohio.

The Appraised Value of the Desk is = $2,400
The Desk has been evaluated at $2,400 because of the "markings and the history"
The Desk is Solid , and it hasn't been touched, or "Restored" in any way.

* Other similar Vintage School desks examples (off-the-Web) were priced similar to ours :
"a example is the School Desk from The Waltons TV Show" (used as a TV Prop) was priced at $1,450.00

*This piece "was not made by the run-of -the -mill factories" (located in places like Buffalo Iron Works, Orion Iron Works, LA, etc,etc,....)
*This was off the first production " Handmade by T Kundtz of Cleveland, Ohio !!
*embellished with inscriptions on the Iron-sides of the Desk with "PAT APLD FOR", and 1&2 RB, Big #1, on Right side.
This was in the first edition of the Cleveland Companies first School Desks made at the turn of the Century!
