Big fan, but not in your budget?
There is a 2008 reproduction on the market, that will run you about $100 (without frame)
There are a few places selling the reproduction, but personally, I'd go with the artist's website. Copy & paste:
https://www.miltonglaser.com/store/c:posters/824/dylan-reproduction-2008
If you're a purest, shopping for the real thing, here are some things to look out for:
~ The reproduction is slightly larger at 24" x 36" & the original was 22 1/4" x 33" (without frame)
~ Since the original was included with an album, there will be fold marks
Of course, if you want a pristine poster, you can save yourself some money, and go with the reproduction
If you are more of a collector, who loves the nostalgia, there will be some flaws. Like old thumbtack holes. Especially after 58 years (see pictures).
And this information is for you:
~ One of America's most celebrated graphic designers and creator of the I ♥ NY logo, Milton Glaser was commissioned by Columbia Records to design a bonus insert poster for inclusion with the 1967 vinyl release of Bob Dylan's Greatest Hits.
~Taking inspiration from a 1957 self-portrait silhouette by Marcel Duchamp and the colorful forms of Islamic painting, Glaser depicted Dylan in bold, black profile, punctuated with psychedelic swirls of technicolor curls, and created an icon of 60s counterculture.
~It is believed that up to six million posters were printed, though few have survived, let alone in good condition. Examples of this poster reside in MOMA and the Cooper Hewitt, Smithsonian Design Museum in New York and the V&A Museum and National Portrait Gallery in London.

New items all the time. I love "treasure hunting", but I eventually run out of room for all my finds. So, for now I'll enjoy my treasures for a little while, then make space for more. After all, sometimes the hunt is just as exciting as the acquisition. At least for me.
