I have an older set of Malone Telos Load Assist with two pairs of “J” kayak racks. The “J” racks do not fold down.
This system helps you load your kayaks onto tall vehicles, such as pickup trucks or vans. I’ve had these for several years, and they came in very handy. There is nothing wrong with them. I’m selling them because I bought a newer version.
I replaced the cushions around the lifting arms and installed new bolts for mounting the racks onto your vehicle’s crossbars, as the old ones were starting to show signs of wear.
To remind you, these are not the newer versions that have leg extensions on the lifting jacks, but rather the older versions. Additionally, the “J” racks do not fold down. All the straps and tie-down cords are also included.
