Islabikes were founded specifically for kids. All of the components (hand brakes, pedals, etc.) are sized for kids, and the bikes are MUCH lighter than kids bikes from the major bike manufacturers.
I bought this bike for my son new for $450 when Islabikes was closing down its U.S. operations. The bike has been stored inside since new. Some minor wear/tear on the bike, but otherwise ready for another kid to enjoy. I think the right age for this would be a third-fifth grader, so about 8-10 or so.
Will include the bike rack shown in some of the pictures.
