Charming classic do-it-all mountain bike with an upgraded modern cassette and derailleur, restored by a professional Mechanical engineer.
Best for 5’5”-5’11” riders.
Light and indestructible CroMoly steel frame in stunning violet cranberry, 21-speed Shimano 200GS drivetrain, Shimano Biopace chainrings (not round, super cool!), 26”x1.95” original all-terrain tires. I took the liberty to accentuate the bright yellow logo on the frame with yellow pedals, handlebar grips, cable housings, and saddle. Also, the original 7-speed 13-30T Shimano cassette was replaced with the new SR Suntour 11-34T. The 4 additional teeth on the cassette will make climbing a lot easier. To accommodate the larger cassette, I used the new Shimano derailleur.

This is not an ordinary used bike that is not safe to ride before a $300+ parts visit to a bike shop. Bike shops charge $350-500 for a complete overhaul, labor alone. Vintage bike restoration is my hobby. I completely disassembled this bike and personally overhauled every component. Every detail of this bike was thoroughly cleaned, inspected, restored or replaced, lubricated, and tuned up; all bearings were greased; and all shifters, derailleurs, and brakes are dialed to perfection.
This bike is ready for another 10 years of problem-free rides.
