Impeccable 1998 Specialized Stumpjumper 18in (Medium) mountain bike - $800 (pacifica)

Restored to like-new condition by a professional mechanical engineer.

This bike is a garage queen, preserved in impeccable conditions. When I got it, the drivetrain was covered in hardened oil and dirt, making the bike impossible to ride. This is likely what preserved it from being used. Cleaning off this gunky mess brought this bike back to life. One of the rear derailleur pulleys was cracked and had to be replaced. The IRC Mythos-XC 26×2.10″ carbon-aramid-forced tires are in great shape. They are so cool, and so iconic 90s that I decided to keep them. Note that the front and rear tires in this set have different threads by design.

This is not an ordinary used bike that is unsafe to ride before a $300+ parts visit to a bike shop. Vintage bike restoration is my hobby. I completely disassembled this bike and personally overhauled every component. Every detail of this bike was thoroughly cleaned, inspected, restored/replaced, lubricated, and tuned up; all bearings were greased; the front shocks, all shifters/derailleurs/brakes were dialed to perfection.
This bike is ready for another 10 years of problem-free rides.
