This Specialized Sirrus Comp is a carbon hybrid / commuter bike that can get you to work, school or wherever quickly and easily. It can also serve as a touring rig or a bike-packing mule. It is a commuter bike that is lightweight and wants to go fast.
The Specialized FACT IS 8r carbon frame is matched with a Specialized carbon fork and carbon seatstays with Zertz inserts that provide compliance from harsh road imperfections. The riser stem provides an upright seating position that provides comfort but can still provide a pretty fast ride. The carbon seatpost also has a Zertz inseart for comfort. The Tektro Gemini disc brakes provide plenty of stopping power in multiple conditions and the Shimano 2x10 drivetrain means you have plenty of gearing. The PDW (Portland Design Works) front basket is super handy and has a value of $80 just by itself. The bike has also been fitted with fenders front and rear.
With a full carbon frame, this bike is lightweight and fast. The official size is Medium and this bike should fit most riders in the 5'7" to 5'10" range.
