This Peugeot is a vintage bike that has been restored and it is an urban / townie bike with upright handlebars. The frame and fork have been cleaned and polished and the bike has been freshened up with new cables and housing, new bar wrap and new Panaracer Pasela 700x25c tires. The backswept and upright handlebars provide a comfortable, leisurely position. It is a 1982 model or so with Peugeot 103 Carbolite steel tubeset. It is a true Made-in-France model and has a 2x6 drivetrain.
With a 54 cm top tube and 50.5 cm seat tube (center-to-top), this bike should fit riders in the range of 5'5" to 5'9". The seat tube is on the long-ish side. The bike weighs a svelte (for the era) 26.84 lbs.
This classic steel frame is equipped with a Stronglight cranks, Suntour VX derailleurs, plush spring-loaded saddle for upright riding, and the aforementioned set of brand new Panaracer tires. The bike also has a handy kickstand.
Given the age, this bike is in very nice condition for leisurely, around-town rides with some serious vintage style.
