This Cannondale Slate SE Force 1 is a pure gravel bike and features an aluminum frame, paired with the innovative Cannondale Lefty Oliver single-sided carbon fork with 30mm of bump-eating travel. This is a recent model bike with a SRAM Force 1x11 drivetrain (42T rear cog), SRAM Force full hydraulic disc brakes and wide WTB 650x42c Resolute gravel tires.
The bike also has some nice upgrades over the stock bike with a PNW (Pacific North West) gravel dropper post with bar-mounted remote lever and a PDW (Portland Design Works) front basket. This bike is in amazing shape and looks almost like new with just a few minor scuff marks. The bike is tuned and ready to roll. The original MSRP of this bike was $3675 so our price here is a screamin’ deal.
This bike is a good all-arounder that can tackle long-distance road or gravel rides, daily commutes or even packed dirt singletrack trails. Don’t sleep on the Lefty Oliver carbon fork, it is legit and it one of the best riding forks made.
The official size is Medium and the manufacturer recommends this bike for most riders in the 5'7" to 5'10" range.
