Vintage bike enthusiasts! I built up this bike as my Eroica California entry bike in 2017 and rode it for 5 of the 100mi events. Aside from that, it has hung in my garage like a museum piece. The frame is 55.5cm Columbus steel and is outfitted with a Shimano 600 groupset (primarily). The original crankset was replaced with IRD Vintage Crankset Defiant Compact Double 46/30t for the steep climbs. They have that vintage appeal, but make it way more manageable on the coastal mountain roads. I also had a wheelset built up with 70's era Campagnolo Record hubs and 80's era Mavic MA40 rims. The wheelset was laced up by the great Tony Tom (RIP) at Sausalito's Bicycle Odyssey. He helped me pick some period era hoops and hubs and literally laced these up right in front of me. They are still true to this day!! The bike rides like a gem and turns heads at the Eroica events. The Vittoria Rubino tires have lots of life on them, and I just replaced the bar tape to give it a super clean look. Asking price is $1200.
