Ibis Exie with a custom XT build in mint condition. Bought this year, low miles and still looks new with no scratches or marks. The geometry and build spec are shown in the photos. The max seat height is 80cm from BB center to top of saddle for a 6’3” rider with the dropper fully extended and installed all the way down in the seat tube. If you want less max height, it’s easy to reduce the extension with 5mm spacers. The listing includes a new set of spare rotors and pads, a Lezyne mini-pump and a Knog bell.

This is a fast, well balanced XC bike that was ridden to a silver medal in the last Olympics. It’s a top pick of Ibis employees for the redwood forest trails in Santa Cruz. After riding a Specialized Epic 8, Santa Cruz Blur and Cervelo ZFS-5, I bought the Exie for its relaxed fit, the uphill traction of its DW suspension and the downhill stability of its longer wheelbase. Online reviews say “super fun XC race bike, best climbing bike ever ridden, lively, fast acceleration, smooth on small bumps, high traction, forgiving, nimble, excellent cornering and downhill stability, good fit for tall riders, a rocket ship" (BikersEdge), “active, supple suspension, stable and predictable, planted ride feel” (FeedTheHabit) and “some sort of magic going on with the DW link suspension... a lot of riders are going to fall in love with this bike” (PinkBike).

The price is firm (below market) and the sale is final. It’s available for pickup in Menlo Park CA or it can be packed and shipped at buyer’s expense. If you want it shipped, my local bike shop can pack it for $150 and your shipper can pick it up at their shop in Palo Alto CA 94306. Please get a shipping quote from BikeFlights or your preferred shipper for a 62 x 13 x 32 inch box that weighs 40 lbs. Thank you.
