Russian Icon in Novgorod tradition “Saint George and the Dragon”
This 15th century icon is exhibited at the State Russian Museum, Saint Petersburg, Russia.
It is, originally, from a church in the village of Manihino, Volkhov Raion, Leningrad Oblast, USSR

Provenance:
Берёзка (Berjozka/Birch, the USSR outlet for the purpose of officially sanctioned sale of objects of art, jewelry, folk and artisanal products); mid-1990’s. Original product label w/ QC stamp on the back identifies "Khudozhestvenny Kombinat", Leningrad, as the manufacturer.
