Antique Two-Sided Adjustable Tapestry Fireplace Screen 27" x 41" high. Very good condition and great looking, with some distress marks from age. Beautiful decorative sage green floral pattern fabric consists of two layers visible from both sides. Fabric is in excellent condition and probably not original. Ornate carved woodworking was recently polished. Sturdy and functions fine, the height is adjustable to allow more or less heat and light through. These were used not to prevent sparks but to shield someone sitting too close to the fireplace. Some marks on the wood show tiny holes, a repaired crack, two small wood pieces missing and a crack on the base, top appears reglued. Base is 14" and maximum height is 61".
