In order for it to blow cooler air, you need to put cold water into the bottle. Additionally, you can put ice cubes inside but you can barely put any and it melts quickly. The air is cooler though.
The highest power setting on the fan isn't that high. I don't see this as cooling a room. It just cools what is in front of it. Nice that it is portable though, and can be charged plugged in via USB.
