This is a large furnished master bedroom with private entrance includes bathroom w/ double sinks and large shower, small kitchenette w/ mini fridge, mini stovetop, coffee maker, microwave, etc. Private entrance is in the back of home, from small deck patio space. There are no shared spaces--just one shared wall. Also have small deck space and yard. Very comfortable for 1 person, less so for 2.
Location is near downtown San Mateo, CalTrain, 92 and 101. Very walkable neighborhood.
The space is like new and has high-end furnishings. Hardwood floors. Tile and glass shower. Black-out curtains and honeycomb blinds. King size Tuft and Needle mattress; West Elm / CB2 / Pottery Barn furnishings.
There is a private entrance and small outside deck space w/ patio table. Living space is NOT shared w/ the main house. You have a completely self-contained studio. ALL Utilities, Wi-Fi, TV w/ Roku included. EV charging may be negotiable on an agreed upon schedule for an additional utility fee.
We are open to a 2-4 month lease to start (will consider 6 depending on situation) and will consider extending month-to-month at that point if it is working for both sides. Ideally 1 person, but will consider a couple for increased rent. Most of our tenants have started out with a ~2 month commitment, and then ended up staying 6 months or longer.
We are respectful of your privacy, but occasionally may offer fresh baked goods or BBQ.

$2,500 deposit and 1st month rent due at signing. Location is near downtown San Mateo. Must provide proof of current income/ability to pay rent.
No pets. No smoking. We do have a small dog who spends most of his time inside with us, but he does hang out on our side of the deck/yard. He is very friendly, but will not be allowed in your space.
