I am an intermediate level bluegrass guitar player looking for people to play both vocal tunes and fiddle tunes. Several of my current bandmates/friends are leaving the area and I am a big believer in playing with people for the fastest improvement. Although I can play 30-40 fiddle tunes reasonably well I am still learning how to play good breaks on vocal tunes.
I'll play with whoever is open for it as long as we approach things with a "learners" viewpoint. I am not interested in dueling to see how fast people can play and I am looking for people who can support each other as we learn.
If there is a fit, I would like to get together on a regular basis, perhaps weekly.
I am in Belmont but am open to reasonable travel if necessary.
