It is locking, but the key is made of soft metal and was broken in storage. You may have the halves (pictured inside the drawer) but I would not count on being able to lock this filing cabinet again. So the cabinet is probably fire safe but not lockable any longer. Sorry.
You can have the hanging folders also.
Exterior dimensions are 30" x 17" x 27 1/2".
It is quite heavy (look at the interior in the pictures). I can help you load into your vehicle, but if you would not consider yourself fairly strong, perhaps you could bring a third person to help lift. Or we can walk it up some plywood/boards I have here (hopefully).
