Job Summary:
We are seeking an experienced Journeyman Plumber to install, maintain, and repair plumbing systems. The ideal candidate will have a strong technical background, excellent problem-solving skills, and the ability to work independently or as part of a team.
Key Responsibilities:
• Install, repair, and maintain plumbing systems, including pipes, fixtures, and appliances, in residential and commercial settings.
• Read blueprints, drawings, and specifications to determine work requirements.
• Diagnose and troubleshoot plumbing issues, providing effective solutions.
• Ensure all work is performed according to local plumbing codes and safety regulations.
• Collaborate with apprentices and other team members to complete projects efficiently.
• Maintain accurate records of work performed, materials used, and hours logged.
• Communicate effectively with clients to explain work performed and answer questions.
• Assist in training apprentices and less experienced plumbers as needed.
Qualifications:
• Minimum 3 years of experience as a plumber.
• Strong knowledge of plumbing systems, tools, and techniques.
• Ability to read and interpret blueprints and technical drawings.
• Excellent problem-solving and troubleshooting skills.
• Strong communication and customer service skills.
• Ability to lift heavy materials, work in confined spaces, and perform physically demanding
tasks.
• Reliable transportation and a clean driving record.
