Full Time – 40 hour work week
(hours may vary due to the nature of construction projects)
$40-$60/hr to start DOE
Rogers Radiant Inc. is a hydronic heating and cooling company looking for an experienced, reliable, and professional individual to install and service hydronic heating and cooling systems. Work includes warm floor heating systems, domestic hot water heating systems, baseboard heating systems, HVAC cooling systems, and solar thermal systems for high-end, residential applications.
CAREER POSITION designed to advance to leadership role.
This position includes work with gas-fired boilers, electric heat pumps , water tanks, pumps, and controls.
SUCCESSFUL CANDIDATE will demonstrate:
1. Thorough understanding/knowledge of basic plumbing, electrical, HVAC and mechanical skills required to install and maintain hydronic heating/cooling systems;
2. Ability to read blueprints/plans;
3. Pride of craftmanship (ability to make “artwork” of a mechanical room, level and plumb);
DESIRED SKILLS include:
1. Previous hydronic plumbing experience;
2. Ability to follow directions and work with minimal supervision;
3. Punctuality;
4. Knowledge or familiarity with various energy (heat) sources, including heat pumps, modulating boilers, and water heaters. Geothermal and HVAC system knowledge a plus;
4. Ability to draw rough plans (tubing grid layout, mechanical room layout, plumbing schematic, electrical wiring plan).
WORK EXPERIENCE:
1. Minimum of 6 years plumbing or HVAC experience, with 3 years at journeyman level of skill;
2. Must provide prior employer information* with a brief description of job responsibilities

Work truck with rack and utility boxes provided.
All power and hand tools provided.
