The Project Manager will:
-ensure positive long-term relations with clients and the whole team
-ensure the financial health of project
-understand and implement our project management system to recognize, document, communicate, and fund all changes and track and predict costs
-work in preconstruction readying plans, budgets, and teams for the build
-cost projections and tracking
-work with the Superintendent to build the best possible building and building process
-train and supervise Project Engineers, Project Administrators and Superintendents
-manage the completion of the project
Major Responsibilities:
1. RISK MANAGEMENT: - Accurately assess and mitigate risk through administering contract documents; know the contract. Andy is to develop and provide the Contract docs.
2. RELATIONSHIPS: - The ability to comfortably and professionally maintain constructive relationships throughout the project team; foster an enthusiastic, creative can-do attitude and share the responsibility for company goals.
3. PROJECT MANAGEMENT: - Responsible for ensuring that project scope is completed on time and within budget; key decisions and corresponding contract changes are clearly understood, communicated and documented. Work closely with Superintendents to manage resource and personnel efficiencies.
4. DOCUMENT and CONTRACT CONTROL: - Clearly document changes to the contract i.e. Owner and Subcontractor change orders, addendums, RFI’s, and any key decisions or events that should be part of the project file.
5. ESTIMATING: - From sales to Estimating to project delivery and management
