Busy, family-owned collision repair shop looking for an experienced and dependable Painting Apprentice to join our team. We take pride in 41 years of quality work, a positive shop environment, and treating our employees with respect.
We are looking for someone who is hardworking, detail-oriented, and able to keep up in a fast-paced production shop.
Job Duties Include:
Assisting painters with vehicle prep and paint processes
Sanding, masking, taping, and preparing vehicles for paint
Mixing and preparing materials under supervision
Cleaning and maintaining paint equipment and work areas
Learning proper paint application techniques and shop procedures
Buffing and polishing completed paint work when needed
Assisting with shop organization and maintaining quality standards
Following all safety procedures and maintaining a clean workspace
Qualifications:
Previous body shop prep experience
I-CAR certifications preferred
Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment
Strong attention to detail and pride in workmanship
Reliable attendance and punctuality
Positive attitude and team-oriented mindset
Valid driver’s license
Bilingual (English/Spanish) is a plus
