Award-winning Sonoma County contractor is seeking a reliable and experienced Yard Foreman / CDL Driver to support our field operations and manage day-to-day logistics.
This role is responsible for the company yard, trucks, equipment, materials, and transportation needs. While driving is part of the position, this is not a full-time driving role. The right person takes ownership of keeping equipment ready, materials organized, and crews supported so jobs run efficiently.
Class A or Class B CDL is required. Class A strongly preferred.
Key Responsibilities
• Manage and maintain the company yard and storage areas
• Oversee trucks, equipment, and material readiness
• Transport materials and equipment to and from jobsites and suppliers
• Load, unload, stage, and secure materials as needed
• Perform routine vehicle and equipment checks and report issues
• Coordinate with field staff and office on daily needs
• Support field crews when needed
• Maintain safe, organized, and efficient operations
Qualifications
• Valid Class A or Class B CDL required (Class A preferred)
• Clean driving record
• Construction or trade experience required
• Strong sense of responsibility and follow-through
• Organized, dependable, and safety-focused
• Comfortable working independently and taking initiative
