Selling this Delta Contractor’s saw with a 1.5HP, single Phase Marathon motor. Motor is currently wired for 110V which should be run on a 20 Amp breaker. Motor can also be wired for 220V, if desired.
For those considering this saw versus a portable saw, this saw will out perform in the following areas:
1) Cast iron table top is flatter than cast aluminum.
2) Belt driven blade arbor transmits less vibration and noise.
3) Gear driven blade tilt mechanism is much easier to fine tune blade angle.
4) Weight of saw reduces saw movement, tipping and vibration.
5) Protractor table slots and protractor are far superior.
6) Arbor shaft will support wider dado sets.
7) More distance in front of the blade to increase control and provide more setup options
8) Accepts larger, cabinet shop type rip fences.
