This computer was used in an office and still can be used as a basic computer. I have installed ChromeOS Flex, which is very easy to use, performs great on this older hardware, and will be supported by Google for a long time.
ChromeOS is not Windows! The operating system is centered around the Chrome browser. It is great for accessing the internet. However, it will not run Windows programs.
ChromeOS works best with a Google account, which is free. You can then use Google's free suite of tools, such as Google mail, Google Drive, Docs, and Photos to take care of your day-to-day basic tasks.
Note, there is no wireless card. It has an Ethernet port, which you can connect to your router.
$30 for just the computer and power cable.
There is a DVD drive, but I didn't check that it works and DVD drives are not supported by ChromeOS Flex.
Pickup only. The computer is at my office and I can't drive around to meet you. The building has parking and a public area where we can meet and you can buy the computer. Meeting here is way more convenient for me and allows me to offer this at a low price.
