If you know Silicon Graphics Inc. machines, this little green giant of a computer is an oldie but goodie!
Extra drives, CPU cards, Video cards, RAM and drive arrays also available. (And sadly, an Octane carcass.) Actualy, I have two fully working Octanes, but want to keep one for now.
Also have some parts, CDs, adapters, cables, an Indycam, two O2's I am working on, several i7 chips motherboards, arduinos, some music synthesizers, etc.
I did some work for SGI back in the day, and a bunch of other companies. I have owned several SGI machines over the years, wrote a lot of software in the valley back in the day. Today, I have more computer power than I need at this stage of my life, and not enough space for new projects, but this stuff has always been Fun!
Tell me what you need, how I can help. Maybe we can trade things, SGI related software, etc. I am looking for some PiDPs. the Raspberry Pi versions of DEC PDP machines. plan to get a 10 and maybe a 1 "when I get around to it" or if someone wants to trade. Always willing to learn something new, and to teach what I know.
Delivery to Santa Rosa, Peninsula may be possible.
Email me, I'll call you if you want, and we can talk and write, and maybe meet.
If you own SGI equipment and want to get in touch with others in the SF Bay area who do, email me,
I have sold several SGI machines, and several of the buyers are open to meeting others in the SF bay area. These machines have a following.
