Job Description
The Sola Market Development Manager is responsible for connecting Sola Santa Rosa with beauty and health professionals within a 30 mile radius of the location. This includes personal outreach, connecting via social networks, leveraging local beauty schools and suppliers such as Cosmo Prof and Salon Centric.
The objective of this position is to facilitate leasing of studios with the goal of 90%+ occupancy by the end of 2026.
Tasks and Deliverables
• Consistent presence in the Sola Santa Rosa location.
• Outreach to local professionals via text, email, networking events, social DMs.
• Relationship building with Lytle’s staff and alumni.
• Event planning with suppliers, Santa Rosa Plaza Mall, Santa Rosa Chamber.
• Touring prospects.
• Assisting in renewals of existing Sola Pros.
• Regular documentation of all contacts and activities.
• Work 15-20 hours weekly.
Ideal Candidate Profile
• Established/resident of Santa Rosa area.
• Outgoing, personable, an extravert.
• Licensed cosmetologist. Currently working in a salon is ideal, but not essential.
• Some sales experience and a willingness to apply new sales approaches.
• Social media savviness: can develop new posts and utilize Instagram and Facebook to amplify UGC.
• Basic understanding of business; ability to explain how an independent stylist can be successful.
• Ability to self-start and self-manage.
Compensation
• Monthly stipend depending upon experience level.
• One year lease of a standard studio and business and liability insurance, free-of-charge (we encourage you to see clients in Sola).
• $100 bonus for every studio leased.
• $1,000 bonus for reaching 75% occupancy for 60 days.
• $3,000 bonus for reaching 90% occupancy for 60 days
