This is a custom made simulator cockpit loosely based on a Marada design.
It is constructed off all Heavy Duty Aluminum:
1/16” - 1/8” plates of aluminum
4545 Aluminum Extrusion (larger and stronger than the 8040 or 4040 stuff most manufactures use)
The frame is very strong and rigid.
Very small footprint.
Has 4 large casters for easy movement.
Fits any sized driver
It was designed to accommodate any brand off peripherals like Thrustmaster/Fanatec/Moza/Logitech G29 GPro. It is currently set up with G920 in pictures
It was made to accommodate extra peripherals like a keyboard and mouse as shown in pics.
Instead of building it with a game seat I upgraded to a genuine Mini Copper S sports car seat. The seat is in excellent condition! It has great support all around. Extremely comfortable. It is a manual seat that slides back and forth 4.5”. It has adjustable lumbar support and tilting backrest. It also has height adjustment up and down 1.5” via manual side “pump handle” Also has a quick release function that folds and slides seat forward.
Seat alone is worth $300+.
A similar set up with seat sells on Amazon for $499 plus tax. They come with a crappy generic seat, no wheels, no tray for keyboard or mouse and aren’t nearly as strong.
Comes with bag of extra specialized bolts, an extra corner bracket, and 2 extra end caps.
You also save yourself hours of build time by buying a prebuilt cockpit.
$300 without Logitech peripherals
$400 with Logitech peripherals
(Steering wheel, shifter and pedals)
Delivery available to greater SF Bay /Sacramento areas for $40-$80 depending on bridge tolls and distance from Fairfield.
